My new set of owl twins. I crocheted these in natural undyed cotton and I think they look sweet!

Halloween Costumes

I kind of wish we celebrated Halloween in a big way, like they do in the US. Check out these awesome costumes on etsy in the Etsy Halloween Costume Gift Guide. My Owl Hat is featured. Love the Sarah Palin art wig, ha!

My Vegeburger and Fries featured on Distillate!
This is awesome! Thanks to Elissa, I found out today that my crocheted burger set is featured on the distillate website. Among good company there, check out these wooden owls in the article above mine.

Why I love buying handmade...
Why buy from the mall when you can get something made by hand, with love, without sweatshops, that arrives in your mailbox all wrapped up nice? One of my recent little purchases were some cute hair clips from LoopiForYou from the madeit website. I loved the red tissue paper and ribbon, it even came topped with a vintage trading card. Thanks Kerri-Ann!

Capes - not just for superheroes
I've designed some little capelets for wearing over ones shoulders on a chilly eve, or for wearing while sitting up in bed reading. I think I like the creamy one with the tartan ribbon best.

This Is Perth - a short video
A friend told me about this hilarious video about Perth 'the biggest city in the whole world'.
It cracked me up, I just had to share!
